Movember, Jimmy Savile, ESS and the LXE Marathon - Together on the day Baby Sean is Due!
The LXE Marathon: Demo it at ESS, Coventry
How was everyone’s Bonfire night? There are a few colleagues in the office who appear to have 'inadvertently' taken up the challenge of Movember, to show their support for raising awareness for prostate cancer in the UK. Some of us were also lucky enough to see Sir Jimmy Savile in Leeds before the packed funeral yesterday, which ended with him being laid to rest by the sea in Scarborough. Three cheers for a Yorkshire legend, hopefully the foundations set up in his memory will continue to help people long into the future.
Sir Jimmy Saville
Jimmy volunteered at the LGI as a porter and to continue along the medical vein we’d like to remind you that we’re attending the Emergency Service Show (ESS) this month! On the 23rd and 24th we’ll be at Stoneleigh Park in Coventry at stand 285. On the day we’ll be showcasing the LXE Marathon, with its IP rating of 65, GPS and finger print scanner make it perfect for use within the emergency services. We’re also in this month’s Government Business magazine Volume 18.11 (page 11)– so look out for our full description of the LXE Marathon and how it can fit into your business. We’ll also be taking other LXE products such as the Tecton and the MX8, the full range of Psion products including the EP10, Omnii and Workabout Pro3. Printers from manufacturers including Toshiba, Zebra and Datamax O’neil so please drop by our stand to speak to either Richard or Justin if you’re interested in a demo of any of these products (or even if you’d just like a bit more information!)
Today is also the due date of one of our tech teams' first baby. Robert and Marta are nervously awaiting the arrival of Sean! Looking forward to meeting you little one :-) We'll tweet photos as soon as we have them!
